Morecambe Bay Moviemakers held their 2007 Awards Dinner at the Grove Restaurant in Morecambe on Monday 30th April. It has been the most successful year in the club’s thirty-seven year history, with several new members and record numbers of entries into the competitions. In addition, the standard of the video productions has been much higher, with some programmes worthy of professional status.
With its high standard of guest speakers and range of `Hands On How to Do It` evenings, Morecambe Bay Moviemakers has become the number one video club in the North-West. The club has showed its members' video productions, entertaining many hundreds of people, at dinners, societies and organisations throughout Lancaster & Morecambe. It has also held a charity fundraising evening, at which the members again showed some of their award winning productions.
