Projects > A Day At Glenfinnan

Michael Ellis says:

"This film was shot on holiday at Morar near Mallaig in September, 2009. The camera was a Sony HC9 mini DV and a tripod was used which added stability for the tracking shots. The footage was edited using Windows Movie Maker.

The Glenfinnan Monument shown in the film was erected in 1815 to mark the place where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard at the beginning of the 1745 Jacobite Rising. The Glenfinnan Viaduct was completed in 1901 by Sir Robert McAlpine and has been seen recently in several of the Harry Potter films.
