"Having been to South Africa several times and because of the increase in violence in that country we decided to look for an alternative. As Barbara and I are mad keen on wild animals and being avid viewers of Big Cat Diary, the choice was obvious. We decided to go to Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. This short film of the Masai Mara highlights our four days there. I do have a Sony HDV V1 camera but because of the weight restriction whilst in Kenya on the small light aircrafts that we flew in I decided that I would take my trusted Sony 950 DV camera which only weighed 3 lbs 4 oz, that included my little shoulder-mount attached. I think you will agree that the pictures are quite stunning.

"I entered this film in the annual competition held at the end of 2008-2009 season in the holiday class and I am pleased to say that it won 1st prize. This film was edited in Edius Pro 5.2
