Graham Easton says :

"The idea came after reading a book about numbers and different mathematical systems used through the ages. There seems to be something in the past about ZERO which made it special, as it was said that it could not be a number as it did not have a value.

"I started to play around with the idea of making an animation about the simple use of numbers but making ZERO the main character. This developed into what you see in the film. Then the idea developed and a moral was included at the end."

Animated with Anime Studio Pro to a sound track created in Audacity where the pitch was altered. Post production including the addition of music was done in Adobe Premier Pro CS3.
