Chris Abrams has been fascinated by the Wild West ever since he was a little boy and has been to Colorado, Utah and Arizona several times. This film tells of the pioneer gold and silver miners, ghost towns, Wyatt Earp and of a journey on the Durango to Silverton Railroad, complete with an eighty four year old lady stuck in a lavatory!.

Colorado Dream took second place in the Open class of the 2007 Annual Open competition.
