A selection of shots from one of John Selby's trips, to Kruger National Park, South Africa.

John spent the majority of his working life as a sales representative, firstly for Hoover Ltd and the last 27 years of his working life for Gallaher Ltd, the renowned tobacco company. Upon taking early retirement at the age of 56, some 14 years ago, John took up several interests: cake decorating, flower arranging and his great passion, videoing, especially when it comes to shooting animals in the wild.

By "shooting," we should point out that this is done with Sony cameras, John favouring either the 950 or the PD 170...

In 1995, John was ordained a Deacon in the Catholic Church so does not have as much time as he used to to pursue his hobby. Nevertheless, he is still involved with school plays, etc.
