A selection of stills from Brian Melmore's film "Nature". The film was shot in and around Auldgirth in Dumfries & Galloway.
Brian started making movies in the 1960s with an 8mm cine-camera but, as technology advanced, he upgraded to his first video camera (a Ricoh Standard 8) in the early 1990s. A number of upgrades later, Brian's current camera, a Sony 3-chip DCR-TRV900E (mounted on a Manfrotto tripod), was used to film "Nature" and the resulting footage was edited on Magix Movie Pro 10 Plus.
Brian joined MBMM over 20 years ago and enjoys filming a wide variety of subjects. "Nature" took 3rd place in the 2007 Warriner Trophy.
