A selection of clips with a rail theme from Michael Ellis. A railway photographer since the 1960s, Michael's work has appeared in a number of commercially-released videos and DVDs.
Saturday, 4th June 2005 : Class 40 diesel, taken from high on a plateau at Dolwyddelan, heading to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
14th August, 2006 : Standard Class 76079 passes Llandecwyn Halt and wooden trestle bridge on the Cambrian Coast line, bound for Barmouth.
Sunday, 16th July, 2006 : 6024 "King Edward I" passes Dawlish on the Torbay Express from Bristol to Kingswear.
Tuesday, 22nd March, 2005 : 6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" passes Lunds viaduct on the Settle to Carlisle, on the Royal Train conveying Prince Charles; only the second time this had been steam-hauled since 1965
