Weekly Report

14th May, 2008 - Ken Russell

The first summer "Noggin-n-Natter" meeting got off to a good start with almost twenty members attending on a warm evening, with the odd pair of shorts exposing even odder nobbly knees. A quarter of the Owls nest was taken over by the chattering of members stopping briefly for the occasional drink.

During the gathering, a certificate was presented to Ron Wood for third place in the open competition, as he was not at the dinner. A thankyou email was read from the Chichester Film and Video Makers for the judging of their annual competition by our team of members, Dave Weatherley, Peter Parker and Chris Abram.

It was also announced that AKM, the copyright free music publishers, were issuing a new, cheaper form of licence, for the use of their music, more suited to the amateur moviemaker. More details are available on their website.

See you all at the next meeting on Monday, 9th June at the Owls Nest from 8.00pm.
