Can You Help?
19th September, 2007 - Mark Easton
The club has received the following request for help from True North Productions:
Hello. Can you help me? I'm producing a series of programmes for ITV Granada and Yorkshire which is looking at film footage of holidays from days gone by. Do any of your members have any holiday footage which may be of interest? I'm looking for interesting trips to the coast, lake district, north Wales, or even abroad for a forthcoming series called 'The Way We Were - on Holiday'. The programmes take film collections of interest and talk to anyone who was involved in making the film, or who appeared in it, just to tell us what was going on. The holiday films need to be reasonably substantial, covering a subject which could sustain interest over five or six minutes, either from one trip or a series of holiday stories.Works trips, club outings and one off holiday events would be fine, as well as family collections.
If you could help, or could put me in touch with anyone who may have interesting collections to feature, please contact me on 07890 455501.
Yours, Andrew Knight
Producer, The Way We Were.
