Noggin 'n' Natter

Having completed the 2006/2007 programme, the club will continue to meet informally on the second Monday of each month in the Owl's Nest pub in Bare, Morecambe at approx 8:00pm. The meetings will help members to keep in touch and arrange summer filming projects, as well as enjoying the social evening. Dates for the meetings are 14th May, 11th June, 9th July, 13th Aug and 10th September, 2007.

School Project

School Concert

Beaumont College, Lancaster, is once again holding an end-of-term concert and would like help to make an edited video/DVD of the event. The performance will take place in the Nuffield Theatre at Lancaster University during the evening of Wednesday 11th July, 2007. A rehearsal will take place during the preceding day. Members have done this job previously and a minimum of two cameras has been found to give the best results. If you can help with either videoing or editing, please contact the hon. sec.

The annual competition between movie-making clubs from the North and those from the South has now begun. The Northern heat to find the five movies to represent the region will be held in Newcastle and entries need to be in by 31st October 2007.

This year's theme is "FAITH, HOPE & CHARITY" and the maximum running time is 20 minutes. If you have a movie, an idea or you are making a suitable entry let the hon. sec know so we can prepare our entry in good time.
